Last week I spoke about the importance to exfoliate and how you can get it done in shorted time without struggling to find your way to a whole day of selfcare to make sure you take care of your skin. If you haven’t read it, you can read it by following this link.
This week I want to talk about another aspect that we find difficult to find time for, and that is the infamous much needed moisturising our skin. Honestly, I don’t know about you, but I always buy creams with the best intentions, and set plans, and sadly 90% don’t follow through. You will be shocked to see the amount of creams I have in my dressing table drawer. I can’t bare to throw them out, so live in the hope that one day I will get to use them.
Originally, I created my bath bombs because my daughter had severe eczema and had the worst outbreak ever time I used store bought products. She desperately wanted a bath bomb, so I set out to make some for her myself. In all honesty it wasn’t easy, I tried and failed quite a few times until I found just the right ingredients that works for her.
What I didn’t expect, although I probably should have, but this was before my journey into studying products, was that the bath bombs will make her skin feel super soft and moisturised. She no longer needed any extra creams added to her skin.
This is where my 2 min hack was born. My son who at the time was around 8 refused to put cream on his skin, and even though he does not have eczema, he still had sensitive skin so need the nourishment. So all I did was ran him a bath with a bath bomb, and problem solved, his dry skin cleared up with in couple of baths and has the softest smoothest skin.
Finally, it was my turn…. Could this newfound trick work for my hard unkept skin. In all honesty I was expecting that I will have to add 3 bath bombs to the water, lie in it for a year and them maybe I could have the same effect. However, I was over the moon when it also took only about 3 baths for my skin to look and feel like I am a religious moisturiser, and what makes it even better is I just have to take a 2min bath once or twice a week now to keep up with the look and feel of my skin.
This has not only been my results and findings, but soon the same findings of friends and family, and not long after the reviews came in from clients that they did not expect the bath bomb to make their skin feel so soft care moisturised. I am over the moon that I unintentionally created something that is not only great for my daughter to use, but great for the whole family.
Ps. I even teach you how to make them yourself if want to give it go. You can read more about that here.

Of course, I get that sometimes even finding those 2 min to quickly jump in the bath is tough, but I would like to challenge and invite you to give it a try and give your skin the nourishment it so desperately needs.
